The Fulbright U.S. Student program funds U.S. citizens to pursue graduate or professional study, conduct research, or teach English. Since 1946, the Fulbright U.S. student program has promoted mutual understanding and the "promotion of international good will through the exchange of students in the fields of education, culture, and science." Fulbright creates connections in a complex and changing world. In partnership with more than 160 countries worldwide, the Fulbright U.S. Student Program offers unparalleled 10-month opportunities in all academic disciplines to passionate and accomplished graduate students from all backgrounds. Program participants pursue graduate study, conduct research, or teach English abroad.
Mississippi State has had nine Fulbright recipients in the last six years. MSU students have gone to Colombia, Finland, the United Kingdom, South Korea, Taiwan, the Netherlands and Germany over the last few years.
