Tips for a Successful Application

Research our graduate programs, visit campus and/or speak with current graduate students.
Apply as early as possible. Most departments award financial support to the best applicants who apply earlier in the process. For example, applicants seeking Fall admission should apply between December and February.
Contact the Graduate Coordinator (faculty member responsible for managing the graduate program) about department specific admission standards and deadlines.
Take the required test (GRE, GMAT, TOEFL or IELTS) early, in the event a retake is needed. Visit the MSU Testing Center for available test dates.
